Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry has been seen smiling and giving a thumbs-up 10 minutes from the scene of the attack, at Bon Ton Prime Rib Steakhouse.

Governor Landry said through his post that “Ate dinner tonight in New Orleans. Proud to be a part of this incredibly resilient city. See everyone at the game tomorrow!”

Governor Landry is being criticised over social media for his posting about eating out at a steakhouse just hours after a pickup truck drove through a crowd in New Orleans and killed 15 people.
